WhipScores is our own company. We built it, we run it, and it takes real bookings and real payments every day.

The brief

Rent a car in minutes. No counter.

WhipScores rents cars to everyday drivers and to people who drive for Uber, Lyft and delivery apps. Its promise is simple: rent a car in minutes, without standing at a counter.

That meant the whole rental had to work online, from choosing a car to seeing the price and booking. Behind it, the business needed one system to run the fleet, and a steady way to reach new drivers and car owners.

What we built

One platform for renters, drivers and the fleet.

  1. A booking flow that starts with one question

    Renters choose personal use or rideshare driving first. That sets their rate, their mileage and which cars they can pick from.

  2. Car pages with every charge up front

    A photo gallery, a trip-length slider and optional protection plans, with the rental, tax and refundable deposit broken down before anyone signs up to book.

  3. An assistant renters can talk to

    The WhipScores assistant answers questions about renting, funding or selling a car. Renters can type or tap the microphone, and pick from eight languages, including Spanish, Arabic and Haitian Creole.

  4. An app without the app store

    WhipScores offers to add itself to the home screen in one tap, so renters can come back to it like any other app.

  5. Pages that bring in drivers and car owners

    Focused landing pages for rideshare and delivery drivers with a short apply form, and one for car owners who want a payout estimate for an idle car.

  6. One operating system for the fleet

    Behind the scenes, the team runs the whole fleet from an operator dashboard, and follow-ups go out automatically.
